Book a meeting or jump into a demo, mid-conversation
· Sander Rõuk
Two new ways for your agents to move a conversation forward at the exact moment a visitor is ready, without having to leave the conversation.
Book meetings right inside the session
Demo and Inbound Q&A agents can now book a meeting for your visitor without leaving the conversation. When the moment is right (a qualified lead, a question that needs a human), the agent opens a calendar right in the session, the visitor picks a time, and the meeting lands in your calendar.
- Connect Cal.com or Calendly. Both join as connections under Data & connections → Connections. Connect whichever one your team runs on.
- Add a booking action to your agent. Pick the event type visitors should book, give the action a label, and optionally tell the agent when it should offer it.
- Visitors book in the moment. The agent shows real availability in the visitor's own timezone. They pick a slot, leave their name and email, and the invite goes out through your booking provider just like any other booking.
- Works in voice demos too. The agent knows the second the booking is confirmed and carries the conversation on from there.
Turn a Q&A conversation into a live demo
Sometimes the best answer to a visitor's question is "let me just show you." Your Inbound Q&A agent can now offer to start an interactive demo mid-conversation and open it with a single click, right there on the page the visitor is already on.
- Offer a demo at the right moment. Add a Start a demo action to your inbound agent and pick which demo agent it hands off to. Optionally tell the agent when it should bring it up.
- The context comes along. Everything the visitor shared in the Q&A carries into the demo. Qualification questions they've already answered disappear from the demo's start screen, so nobody answers the same question twice.
- No pressure. If the visitor skips the offer and changes their mind later, they can just ask and the agent will bring it back.
