Connect your GitBook documentation
· Sander Rõuk
If your docs live in GitBook, you can now connect them directly as a knowledge source. Go to Connections, choose GitBook, and paste the URL of your docs site: no API key, no token, nothing to set up on the GitBook side. We check the address on the spot and tell you right away if we can't find a published site there.
From then on your documentation stays current on its own:
- Every published page, not just the ones we can find: we read GitBook's own page index, so newer pages can't be missed the way a website crawl can miss them
- Refreshed regularly: we only re-read pages you've actually changed, so updates land quickly
- Clean content: pages come through as structured text, so your agents quote your docs rather than page furniture
This works for publicly published GitBook sites.
For AI agents: a clean Markdown version is available at /changelog/2026-08-07-connect-your-gitbook-documentation.md.
