Demo agents that follow the visitor, not a script
· Uku Tammet
Your Demo agent no longer has to walk every visitor through a fixed, step-by-step script. Instead, you give it a pool of content (assets to show, questions to ask, actions to offer, and workflows to run) and it decides what to use in the moment, based on what each visitor actually asks. Every conversation adapts to the person in it instead of marching through the same sequence.
- Adapts to each visitor. The agent opens with a quick discovery question and a short overview, then goes deeper wherever the visitor's interest leads. No two conversations have to follow the same path.
- Shows, doesn't tell. When someone asks to see the product or how a feature works, the agent surfaces the right asset or runs the matching workflow and talks through it, rather than reciting a wall of text.
- Offers the right next step at the right time. Call-to-action buttons like "Book a call" or "Get a quote" appear when a visitor shows buying interest or asks about pricing, not on a rigid cue.
- Simpler to set up. Configure your agent as a pool of assets, discovery questions, actions, and workflows, each with a note on when to use it. No more building and ordering scripted sections.
