Let your AI app improve your agents

· Uku Tammet

AI apps you connect to Handhold, such as Claude or ChatGPT, can now make changes, not just read. Ask one to go through last week's transcripts, find the questions your agent couldn't answer, and add the missing answers to your knowledge. It can also rework an agent's name, personality, instructions, welcome message, suggested replies, actions, data fields and triggers when the transcripts show they need it, or set up a new agent from scratch or as a copy of an existing one.

When you connect an app, you choose what it can do in each area: no access, view, or for agents and knowledge, view and edit.

Edit access is never on by default, and changes go live as soon as they're made. We ask the app to show you each change and wait for your go-ahead, and many apps also ask you to approve it. Existing connections keep the read access you approved.
